My mantra for 2012. I chose a word rather than a list. I think it’s working quite well to be honest. It’s harder to keep up with a list, especially since i’m the biggest list maker ever. I make lists of lists.
I got the idea to choose a word from a blog I recently started following, she is great by the way. Really inspiring
With this word it inspired a natural list rather than a random list I would normally make and not stick to. I picked the word, or the word picked me, almost a month ago when I was going through a big purging period. I got rid of SO many useless things, and it felt great!
So the natural list occurred, which only a few things have come to mind, but getting rid of all my useless crap was always at the top. Each month i’m going to to try my best to simplify a part of my life that needs structure. Like eating healthy!
This month that is the goal, simplifying my diet! Finding recipes that are easy to make and call for few ingredients. I’m trying not to eat out as much to save money.
I’ve already cooked two great recipes. Try them if you like! two bean vegetarian chili I swapped black beans for kidney beans. YOU MUST use the butternut squash, it’s just not the same without it. breakfast oatmeal bake

This site is awesssssome! I like how straightforward it is. You don’t beat around the bush with cupcakes and cookies. I just wish you didn’t have to scroll so much.
